With OK E-Cigs becoming an ever-increasing leader in the e-cigarette market, they felt it was time for a website redesign to bring it up-to-date with the latest responsive design techniques and make it more user friendly on mobiles and tablets.
With the website already running on WordPress and WooCommerce, we discussed, with the client, suitable themes from which the new design could be based upon. Our designer then went to work on design mockups for approval. Once the design concepts were agreed, our developers began the rebuild.
51% of e-commerce sales come via mobile devices in this modern age, so responsive design was key. From beginning to end we kept mobile users in the forefront of our minds.
Since going live with the new website version, our client has reported that conversions are up by 299% on mobile devices and 198% on tablets!
With the client also prioritising ease-of-use, we also implemented the Sage Pay ‘Card Save’ functionality, so that customers could reuse a card they had previously registered on the website, saving the shopper time at the checkout.
Using the WordPress built in post system we also created an ‘Information Hub’ so customers could access help and information with ease, without the need to contact our client.
