Andrew Real

Andrew brought his HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript skills to the team in 2014. During 19 years working in the audio / visual industry Andrew developed a passion for technology and helping traditional businesses transition into e-commerce and the web.

Andrew has extensive knowledge of WordPress and is a keen advocate of the platform. He has worked on a number of large scale WordPress projects including the development of a bespoke WordPress theme for a large service provider in the University sector. Andrew is also enthusiastic about using JavaScript frameworks like React and Svelte to create fast, responsive and accessible web applications that integrate with WordPress.

In his spare time, Andrew plays keyboards for a local band and is keen on boating, holding a Powerboat Level 2 certificate and has completed the Day Skipper Theory course. Like all good geeks he also enjoys playing video games but his reflexes have slowed with age (it happens to us all) so it's more strategy and simulation games than Call of Duty and Battlefield nowadays.
